What you will do

• Own and evolve the biosample procurement strategy, including executing current plans and designing future expansion.
• Lead biosample procurement and serve as the primary point of contact for vendor relationships, contracts, and pricing negotiations.
• Collaborate with ML scientists, engineers, and therapeutics teams to strategically source biosamples to achieve company goals.
• Operationalize efficient sample accessioning and manage sample metadata to support data generation and analysis at scale.
• Streamline and scale processes to increase biosample procurement, tracking, and assay throughput.
• Design and implement biosample operations processes for expected future clinical trials.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in biology or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong track record in vendor management, including contracting and negotiations.
• Background in human clinical laboratory environments and/or managing biosample operations on clinical trials.
• Familiarity with FFPE tissues and histology laboratory operations.
• Experience with LIMS/sample management software and ability to use SQL for database queries.
