TL;DR

Master Backend Engineer (.NET): Building and evolving scalable backend microservices and integrations within a CQRS + Clean Architecture ecosystem with an accent on distributed systems and Azure cloud infrastructure. Focus on designing high-throughput event-driven systems, optimizing data performance in Azure SQL, and establishing high engineering standards.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Brazil)

What you will do

  • Design and evolve scalable backend microservices using .NET 8/9 and ASP.NET Core within a CQRS and Clean Architecture ecosystem.
  • Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and event-driven systems utilizing Azure Service Bus for high throughput and reliability.
  • Implement asynchronous and background processing via Azure Functions and message-driven patterns.
  • Lead data design and performance tuning in Azure SQL and EF Core, including indexing and transactional consistency.
  • Establish engineering standards and reusable patterns while improving CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Drive production excellence and observability using Application Insights and OpenTelemetry.

Requirements

  • Expert-level experience with C# and .NET (8/9) in production environments.
  • Strong experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure SQL, EF Core, and event-driven systems (Azure Service Bus).
  • Deep understanding of Clean Architecture, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, cloud-native deployments, and Azure DevOps.
  • Advanced English proficiency and residency in Brazil.

  • Experience working across both modern microservices and legacy .NET systems.
