What you will do

• Architect scalable, reliable backend systems and lead design discussions for long-term impact.
• Mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and foster cross-team alignment.
• Identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation, automation, and performance improvements.
• Build and maintain internal tools and infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
• Ensure platform availability through observability, logging, and operational best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and resolve incidents as a problem solver.

Requirements

• 8+ years in backend development, with staff-level or technical leadership experience.
• Expert C# (.NET 8+) and PostgreSQL/SQL skills.
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems in cloud-native AWS environments.
• Proficiency with containerized services and infrastructure-as-code (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Hands-on with AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, ChatGPT, Amazon CodeWhisperer.
• Experience with event-driven systems; Kafka a plus.
• Fluent English.
