TL;DR

Associate Product Manager (Payments): Supporting the execution and reliability of a central back-office payment system with an accent on translating business needs into technical user stories. Focus on optimizing tax-free payment flows, managing the product backlog in a SCRUM environment, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Location: Must be based in Slovakia or Hungary and hold a valid Slovakian or Hungarian work permit. Hybrid model: 2 days per month in Vienna's Office.

What you will do

  • Collect and clarify requirements from Business Units and IT Operations teams.
  • Translate business and operational needs into structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Document business processes, payment flows, and integration interfaces.
  • Maintain and refine the Product Backlog in close collaboration with the Product Manager.
  • Support the SCRUM team during sprints by clarifying scope and updating documentation.
  • Analyze tax-free payment flows, incidents, and edge cases to identify system dependencies.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in product, business analysis, technology, or finance roles.
  • Must already be based in Slovakia or Hungary.
  • Valid Slovakian or Hungarian work permit is mandatory.
  • English: C1 level (excellent oral and written skills).
  • Strong understanding of structured requirements, business rules, and flows.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Basic presentation skills to explain ideas and findings clearly.
