What you will do

• Own the technical strategy for an engineering vertical, ensuring robust technical architecture and operational excellence.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other engineers, supporting their career progression and technical growth.
• Ensure services and platforms remain stable and scalable while future-proofing the technology stack.
• Drive the technical roadmap as a subject matter expert and champion for strategic technical initiatives.
• Reduce system complexity by applying "simpler is always better" principles to the codebase.
• Collaborate with c-suite executives to align complex technical strategies with business goals.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience (or 5+ years with an MS in Computer Science).
• Technical proficiency in Java and AWS, including experience with Lambdas or Kafka.
• Experience building advanced shared libraries, design systems, or SDKs.
• Strong understanding of modern architectures, design patterns, and platform nuances.
• Expertise in testing concepts and integrating best practices into the SDLC.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of web libraries and frameworks such as Typescript, React, Angular, and/or Bootstrap.
