What you will do

• Map the Asian crypto trading landscape to identify key retail traders, whale accounts, and market makers.
• Build and cultivate strategic relationships with high-value traders and ecosystem participants across Asia.
• Develop and execute a strategy to attract a meaningful segment of Asian traders to Phoenix.
• Represent the company at industry events and within key trading communities and KOL networks.
• Surface market intelligence regarding competitive dynamics, trader preferences, and sentiment shifts.
• Collaborate with the broader team to refine regional go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

• Deep roots in crypto with experience spanning multiple market cycles.
• Strong existing network in the Asian trading ecosystem that can be activated immediately.
• Professional background at a centralized exchange, trading firm, or DeFi protocol.
• Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese and strong English communication skills.
• High agency and ability to operate with significant independence.
• Must be based in New York City and comfortable traveling to Asia and within the US (approx. 8 weeks/year).

Nice to have

• Existing relationships with whale traders, market makers, or institutional accounts in the Asian region.
• Direct experience with on-chain trading products, perpetuals, or DeFi protocols.
