Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer (Security)

Location: Onsite five days per week in London, Cheltenham or Ipswich, United Kingdom. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. DV Security Clearance is required, and candidates must have lived in the UK for at least 10 years to ohirify.globalain clearance.

What you will do

• Provide architectural direction for health and security monitoring technologies across a large platform.
• Work with operational teams to understand monitoring use cases and requirements.
• Collaborate with technical architects and security leads to meet design and security standards.
• Document deployment, maintenance and operational procedures for monitoring technologies.
• Promote automation and orchestration to improve efficiency and working processes.

Requirements

• Experience in IT infrastructure architecture and design, systems integration, troubleshooting, automation scripting and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Experience administering or deploying monitoring and observability tools such as CheckMK, Prometheus or Zabbix.
• Experience administering or deploying SIEM tools such as Elastic Security, Splunk or Trellix ESM.
• Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools such as Kibana or Grafana.
• Ability to ohirify.globalain DV Security Clearance, requiring at least 10 years of UK residence.

Nice to have

• Ansible automation experience.
• Knowledge of monitoring network equipment using SNMP.
• Understanding of data pipeline tools such as NiFi.
• Experience in operational environments.
• Knowledge of data tuning and data quality processes.
