Location: Onsite (5 days office based) in London, Cheltenham, or Ipswich. Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain DV Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Provide architectural direction for health and security monitoring technologies across a large platform.
• Engage with operational teams to define use cases and requirements for monitoring toolsets.
• Collaborate with technical architects and security leads to maintain design and security standards.
• Document deployment, maintenance, and operational procedures for monitoring technologies.
• Drive the use of automation and orchestration to improve efficiency and operational processes.

Requirements

• DV Security Clearance is required (or eligibility to obtain it).
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience deploying monitoring/observability tools such as CheckMK, Prometheus, or Zabbix.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Elastic Security, Splunk, Trellix ESM) and visualization tools (Kibana, Grafana).
• Strong skills in IT infrastructure architecture, systems integration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform automation scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring networking equipment using SNMP.
• Understanding of data pipeline tools like NiFi.
• Experience working in operational environments.
• Knowledge of data tuning and data quality processes.
