Salary: $152,000 - $228,500

What you will do

• Lead design and implementation of secure infrastructure services for 30+ development teams.
• Own end-to-end encryption strategies for service-to-service communication and data at rest/transit.
• Drive adoption of automated certificate lifecycle management including rotation and revocation.
• Define and implement platform-wide approaches to data classification and labeling.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using GitOps principles and set standards.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to long-term architectural decisions and platform strategy.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in TLS, PKI, certificate chains, and symmetric/asymmetric cryptography.
• Strong experience in platform engineering, SRE, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and ability to write production-grade code.
• Deep expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, EKS, ALB/ELB, Transit Gateway).
• Strong Linux engineering skills, including networking, storage, and OS fundamentals.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., CMMC, FedRAMP).
• Familiarity with languages such as Go or Java.
• Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• AWS certifications.
