Salary: $140,000–$180,000

What you will do

• Administer AWS and Azure environments, including VPCs, networking, storage, and VM lifecycle management.
• Design and maintain modular infrastructure using Terraform, including state management and IaC migrations.
• Support containerized workloads in ECS and EKS, focusing on cluster management and image security.
• Integrate infrastructure provisioning and security controls into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Apply security hardening baselines (CIS, DISA STIGs) and monitor security tools like GuardDuty and Security Hub.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks for audits and operational stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Strong expertise in Terraform modular design and state management.
• Proficiency with Linux (RHEL/Amazon Linux) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Must be a US Citizen; all work must be performed in the United States.

Nice to have

• Multi-cloud experience spanning both AWS and Azure.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare (HIPAA), defense (CMMC/NIST 800-171), or finance (SOC 2).
• AWS or Azure certifications, or CompTIA Security+.
• Active DoD security clearance (Secret or above).
