TL;DR
Senior Observability Architect (Observability): Architecting and guiding the implementation of complex observability solutions for strategic customers with an accent on systems thinking and long-term customer success. Focus on designing technical roadmaps, driving product adoption of the LGTM stack, and bridging the gap between customer needs and product engineering.
Location: Must be located on the West Coast or East Coast of the United States
Salary: $204,000 - $244,000 OTE

What you will do
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of strategic Grafana customers.
- Design observability maturity journeys and execute technical roadmaps for clients.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting, conduct regular health checks, and assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with internal Engineering and Product Management to advocate for customer needs and shape the product roadmap.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients on the technology suite.
- Identify opportunities for clients to optimize costs and expand their use of the platform to maximize ROI.
Requirements
- Must be based on the US West Coast or East Coast.
- 5+ years of experience in technical support, TAM, consulting, or Professional Services within the tech industry.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of observability solutions; experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients (up to 25%).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Math, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of post-sales technical experience specifically with open-source or observability technologies.
- Proven ability to connect product usage to tangible business value (ROI).
- Expertise in managing the entire customer lifecycle and solving adoption challenges.
