What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve platform issues.
• Develop automation projects using Python or Go to minimize manual intervention and streamline tasks.
• Manage infrastructure configuration and deployment using IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical platform issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and advocate for platform engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer, SRE, or Platform Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering within large-scale, mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and core system internals.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Java) and advanced Bash scripting.
• Availability to work Pacific Hours (8am-5pm PST).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
