Build & Release Support Engineer (CI/CD): Providing high-impact technical support for build, release, and CI/CD systems to ensure high developer velocity with an accent on software supply chain workflows and release tooling. Focus on troubleshooting complex pipeline failures, diagnosing artifact issues, and optimizing developer onboarding for global-scale platforms.

Location: Remote. Must be based in the US, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, or Mexico and available to work 8AM–5PM Pacific Time.

What you will do

• Provide frontline technical support for build and release systems via Slack and ticket queues.
• Triage and resolve build failures, broken pipelines, dependency issues, and configuration errors.
• Diagnose complex packaging or artifact problems involving Maven, Java, Docker, and Jenkins.
• Manage the end-to-end escalation process, providing thorough analysis and clean handoffs to downstream teams.
• Develop and maintain internal FAQs and technical one-pagers to reduce recurring tickets.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Build/Release Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Hands-on experience with Maven/Java build tools, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong Unix/Linux command-line skills and scripting proficiency in Python or Bash.
• Experience with artifact management (Artifactory, Nexus) and deployment orchestration (Spinnaker).
• Ability to align with 8AM–5PM Pacific Time zone.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Prior SRE experience.
