Embedded Software Engineer (Android OS): Developing mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices based on AOSP with an accent on real-time multi-threaded software and ARM virtualization. Location: Fully On-Site in Dedham, MA. U.S. citizenship and Active DoD Secret Clearance are required.

Salary: $62.50 – $75.25 per hour

What you will do

• Develop mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices for a growing product line.
• Build real-time multi-threaded embedded software on Linux and Android OSes.
• Perform AOSP-based development for the Android Operating System.
• Design Android system applications using Object Oriented programming in C++ and Java.
• Implement ARM virtualization extensions, specifically Hypervisors.
• Maintain and perform technology refreshes for products with long development lifecycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience (or Master's degree plus 3 years).
• Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is strictly required.
• Experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and Embedded Linux.
• Proficiency in Object Oriented design and programming using C++, Java, and UML.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hypervisor technology.
• Proficiency with Rhapsody and UML.
• Knowledge of Device drivers and Ninja/SOONG Build Systems.
• Ability to define work scope, schedules, and provide technical leadership.
• Experience with software tools for IDE, version control, and defect tracking.
