TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (.NET/AI): Designing and implementing custom software solutions and AI-driven tools for a digital banking platform with an accent on LLM integration and RAG fundamentals. Focus on building agentic patterns, optimizing embedding pipelines, and delivering fullstack .NET components.

Location: Hybrid in Cary, North Carolina. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No sponsorship available)

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and test full-stack software solutions for Windows- and Linux-based components across the Q2 platform.
  • Develop and integrate AI tools, agents, and MCP servers to optimize engineering workflows and product features.
  • Deploy and maintain custom features in live production systems, including occasional on-call support.
  • Mentor team members, provide technical leadership, and advocate for SOLID principles and best practices.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to strict security, availability, and privacy controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years).
  • Proficiency in full-stack .NET development including C#, SQL Server, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems, RAG fundamentals (embedding pipelines, vector search, chunking), and agentic patterns.
  • Familiarity with MVVM and frontend frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React.
  • Fluent written and oral English communication.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Domain experience in the banking industry.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and auto-mocking tooling.
