What you will do

• Focus on chemistry systems to improve plant performance, reduce costs, and optimize processes
• Source, develop, and test new chemistry systems for thermoset composite materials
• Develop and implement quality control and R&D testing for incoming, in-process, and finished materials
• Assist with raw material sourcing and ensure best practices in collecting experimental data
• Operate R&D laboratory equipment, maintain lab cleanliness, and conduct quality testing
• Contribute to team GMP, safety, mentoring, and knowledge management

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field
• 1 year experience in manufacturing environment
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills; mechanically inclined
• High attention to detail, reliable, punctual, sense of urgency, multitasking
• Physical ability to lift 60 lbs, push/pull 100 lbs, stand 12 hours, work at heights, outdoors in all weather
• Wear PPE including steel-toed boots, respirator (must maintain clean-shaven face for seal)
