What you will do

• Partner with engineering leadership to identify operational problems, source accurate data, and provide informed insights.
• Diagnose root causes of issues like scheduling backlogs, lead time spikes, and lagging metrics beyond surface-level reporting.
• Clean and document data from ERP, HR, and engineering systems to build a trustworthy foundation.
• Instrument end-to-end engineering processes tracking pipeline health, lead times, and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards including executive scorecards, operational views, and drill-throughs with analytical context.
• Collaborate with data engineering on Snowflake/dbt models integrating order, workforce, and milestone data.

Requirements

• 3+ years BI/analytics in manufacturing (engineer-to-order or make-to-order preferred)
• Experience across multiple systems resolving data quality, definitions, and SME collaboration
• Advanced analytical skills: hypothesize, test data, communicate to non-technical stakeholders
• Advanced Tableau, strong SQL, Snowflake/dbt familiarity
• Engineering background (electrical/mechanical) or embedded engineering team experience heavily weighted
• Bachelor's in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related
