TL;DR
Mobile Developer (React Native): Building and maintaining mobile features end-to-end—from consuming APIs and managing state to rendering polished, production-ready UI on iOS and Android with an accent on cross-platform consistency, data flows, caching, and edge cases. Focus on implementing complete features from API integration to UI, handling async operations, offline scenarios, and collaboration with backend teams.
Location: Reside in Europe, full-time remote, able to work in overlap with core hours 9 AM - 1 PM EST, willing to travel to USA or Europe 1–3 times per year (4–8 days).

What you will do
- Implement complete mobile features in React Native, from API integration to UI rendering.
- Handle data and state management: consume REST APIs, async flows, caching, error states.
- Ensure cross-platform consistency across iOS and Android.
- Manage production readiness: loading states, retries, offline scenarios, edge cases.
- Collaborate with backend and product teams to deliver requirements efficiently.
- Maintain and refactor codebase, control technical debt.
Requirements
- 3–5 years professional mobile development experience
- Strong React Native and TypeScript proficiency
- Experience with REST APIs, mobile state management (Redux)
- Understanding of mobile performance, iOS/Android differences
- Shipping apps to production; portfolio of shipped apps required
- Able to work as independent contractor
- Quiet home office, reliable high-speed internet, modern computer
Nice to have
- Offline-first or poor-network scenarios
- Background tasks, push notifications, deep linking
- React Native performance tools
- Basic backend concepts (queues, retries, rate limits)
- Experience in shared codebases
