TL;DR

Frontend Developer (React): Transforming Figma designs into performant user interfaces for consumer-facing websites with an accent on design fidelity and technical feasibility. Focus on bridging the gap between design and code, optimizing frontend performance, and implementing complex interaction patterns.

Location: Must reside in Europe. Requires ability to overlap with core global office hours (9 AM - 1 PM EST).

What you will do

  • Build new product features by transforming Figma designs into production-ready code.
  • Collaborate with designers to review mockups and provide feedback on technical feasibility and interaction patterns.
  • Optimize frontend performance and ensure adherence to accessibility standards.
  • Maintain high code quality and a consistent component architecture.
  • Translate design intent into seamless technical implementations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Proven ability to implement designs from Figma with high fidelity.
  • Must reside in Europe and be able to work as an independent contractor.
  • Ability to travel to the USA or Europe 1–3 times per year for company meetings and conferences.
  • Portfolio required demonstrating design implementation quality (live sites or GitHub).

Nice to have

  • Experience building or maintaining design systems.
  • Expertise in accessibility (WCAG).
  • Experience working with Astro.
