Financial Analyst (m/f/d)

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (m/f/d): Support and shape end-to-end finance function including reporting, planning, budgeting, and operations with an accent on financial analysis, cost structures, and data-driven decision-making. Focus on building scalable dashboards, cash flow management, process automation, and strategic initiatives in a deep-tech scale-up.

Location: Dresden, Germany (office-based at hirify.global GmbH, Freiberger Straße 37, 01067 Dresden). Fluency in English and German (C1 level) mandatory.

What you will do

• Prepare financial reports, KPIs, and management dashboards; analyze performance, costs, and unit economics
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, cash flow, liquidity, and runway analysis
• Contribute to strategic planning for hiring, pricing, and go-to-market investments
• Interface with external partners (tax advisors, accountants, auditors, payroll); handle invoicing and revenue tracking
• Assist in monthly/quarterly/annual closings and ensure accurate documentation
• Build cost tracking structures, improve processes, and support public funding/grant reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related
• 1–3 years in FP&A, financial analysis, controlling, consulting, or startup
• Strong understanding of financial statements and cost structures
• Analytical skills for structuring topics and actionable insights
• Experience with financial modeling and reporting tools (Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, Agicap a plus)
• Fluency in English and German (C1 level mandatory)
