TL;DR

UX Designer (Fintech): Craft end-to-end user experiences for financial services platform using central design systems with an accent on balancing business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints. Location: Edinburgh, hybrid (at least 2 days per week or 40% time in office)

What you will do

  • Craft cohesive end-to-end user journeys step-by-step using components from central design system, balancing content and UI elements.
  • Prototype designs with tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, or Adobe XD.
  • Gather user research to align on individual needs, diplomatically push back when needed to prioritize customers.
  • Adapt to platform technical constraints while guiding optimal user experiences.
  • Advocate for inclusive, accessible designs for users of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
  • Present work confidently, incorporate feedback from collaborators, research, and testing; own design output fully.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in UX/Interaction Design (Visual Design background possible)
  • Strong prototyping and layout skills, articulate to stakeholders and developers.
  • Experience using and improving design systems.
  • Interpret quantitative/qualitative research to inform interaction design.
  • Experience in complex landscapes, ideally financial services.
  • Guide designs to delivery, communicate with developers for specifications and broad usability.

  • Agentic AI experience.
