Salary: $60,000–$80,000 USD base

is a seed-stage vertical SaaS company building a modern operating system for the debt-collection industry.
What you will do
- Triage and resolve production incidents and customer escalations via tickets, email, and phone.
- Debug backend issues in Python/Django and safely modify PostgreSQL database state.
- Develop and execute one-off Python scripts and SQL for remediation, migrations, or repairs.
- Perform root-cause analysis using logs, traces, and metrics to implement mitigations.
- Collaborate with Engineering to deliver reproducible bug reports and verify releases.
- Maintain runbooks, postmortems, and KB articles to reduce MTTR.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of production experience with Python and Django (or equivalent frameworks).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and production experience with PostgreSQL.
- Comfortable in a direct customer support function and product-oriented mindset.
- Ability to debug server-side code and trace requests across services.
- Familiarity with Git workflows and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Location: Must be based in LATAM.
Nice to have
- Experience with FinTech, payments, or vertical SaaS.
- Familiarity with AWS and observability tools (Sentry, Datadog, ELK).
- Prior SRE or support experience including on-call rotations.
- Basic familiarity with React to collaborate with product and QA.
