Data Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Analyze business workflows to identify data automation and pipeline opportunities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations
• Containerize data workloads using Docker and deploy to cloud infrastructure
• Develop prototypes and POCs to validate ideas quickly
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to refine requirements and iterate on solutions
• Support deployment and integration of data solutions into production
• Continuously improve data processes through automation and AI-driven approaches
• Contribute to data modeling, quality, and observability practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong data engineering background with ability to design and own solutions end-to-end
• Proficiency in Python, Airflow, dbt, and Redshift for data processing, pipeline development, and transformation
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-directed and proactive: spot workflow inefficiencies and drive improvements independently
• Product thinking: collaborate with business teams, propose solutions, build POCs, iterate, and support deployment

Nice to have

• Exposure to BI/analytics environments
• Experience in cross-functional product teams
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms
