What you will do

• Define and lead the roadmap for query understanding and user intent interpretation.
• Develop and optimize search quality models to improve ranking relevance, recall, and precision.
• Design metrics, tools, and evaluation frameworks to measure and improve search quality.
• Collaborate with ML, data science, and engineering teams to build and scale search systems.
• Lead investigation and triage of search quality issues to implement long-term solutions.
• Benchmark search performance against industry standards and competitors.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Manager in search, NLP, machine learning, or technical data-driven products.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end search systems (tokenization, indexing, retrieval, ranking).
• Knowledge of search relevance concepts such as spelling correction, synonyms, embeddings, or LLM-based interpretation.
• Familiarity with production ML systems and trade-offs between real-time and batch processing.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define quality metrics at scale.
• Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineering and data science teams.
