What you will do

• Design and implement complex, stateful, and fault-tolerant client-side engines, including extraction engines and parsers.
• Develop and optimize advanced algorithms involving tree/graph traversal and heuristics.
• Manage concurrency, memory, and performance profiling for high-efficiency systems.
• Collaborate on remote projects to solve the industry's toughest engineering challenges.
• Work within a flexible, remote-first engineering team reporting to the Head of Engineering.

Requirements

• 10+ years of development experience in systems programming with a strong focus on C++.
• Proven ability to design high-performance client-side engines or equivalent systems.
• Deep knowledge of concurrency and memory management.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent.
• European Residence required.
• English proficiency for effective written and spoken communication.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Rust or willingness to migrate C++ components to Rust.
• Experience with DSLs, query engines, or custom parsing grammars.
• Integration of AI-assisted tooling, LLMs, or vision models.
• Experience with secure local storage such as SQLCipher or encrypted SQLite.
• Cross-platform development for Windows, macOS, and Android.
