What you will do

• Design side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP aligned to Clean Core and SAP Extensibility Guidelines.
• Define extension strategies using SAP BTP services such as CAP, Kyma, SAP Build, and ABAP Environment.
• Lead development of extensions utilizing Node.js, Java, ABAP Cloud, and SAP Build Apps.
• Implement UI extensions using SAP Fiori Elements and SAPUI5.
• Enforce clean core compliance and implement CI/CD pipelines, code quality standards, and security controls.
• Mentor junior consultants and act as a technical advisor to customers and internal delivery teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years on SAP BTP.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Extension Suite and side-by-side extensibility.
• Proficiency in CAP (Node.js/Java) and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
• Expertise in API Management and event-driven architectures.
• Must be based in Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) via SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of SAP Domain Models and business processes.
• SAP BTP or SAP S/4HANA certifications.
