What you will do
- Design side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP aligned to Clean Core and SAP Extensibility Guidelines.
- Define extension strategies using SAP BTP services such as CAP, Kyma, SAP Build, and ABAP Environment.
- Lead development of extensions utilizing Node.js, Java, ABAP Cloud, and SAP Build Apps.
- Implement UI extensions using SAP Fiori Elements and SAPUI5.
- Enforce clean core compliance and implement CI/CD pipelines, code quality standards, and security controls.
- Mentor junior consultants and act as a technical advisor to customers and internal delivery teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years on SAP BTP.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Extension Suite and side-by-side extensibility.
- Proficiency in CAP (Node.js/Java) and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
- Expertise in API Management and event-driven architectures.
- Must be based in Australia.
Nice to have
- Experience with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) via SAP BTP.
- Knowledge of SAP Domain Models and business processes.
- SAP BTP or SAP S/4HANA certifications.
