What you will do
- Lead the development and deployment of physical AI capabilities for obstacle detection, object identification, and pose estimation.
- Architect solutions leveraging diverse sensor modalities including RGBD cameras, LiDAR, and Time-of-Flight sensors.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing robotics software stacks for both manipulators and mobile platforms.
- Utilize simulation environments and the NVIDIA Isaac platform to accelerate engineering and validation workflows.
- Collaborate with R&D teams across the portfolio to shape the future of collaborative robotics.
- Apply scientific rigor to evaluate ML model performance, tracking quality metrics across training iterations.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of sensor technologies (RGBD, LiDAR, ToF) and their respective limitations.
- Proven experience shipping AI-powered products to market and supporting them in production environments.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and expertise in data science and data engineering.
- Hands-on experience with the NVIDIA Isaac platform and tools.
- Must be based in or able to work from North Reading, MA, US.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of and interest in Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models.
- Contributions to the AI or robotics research communities.
- Experience working with both robotic manipulators and autonomous mobile platforms.
