Technical Lead (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and implement fintech and payment institution systems, including RTP, ledger systems, and core payment flows.
• Write and review production code for critical services and lead technical decisions regarding resilience and security.
• Develop safe payment flows with strong idempotency and failure handling.
• Ensure consistency across orchestration, ledger, and reconciliation processes.
• Enhance observability, incident response, and operational readiness of the systems.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience building or integrating real-time payment systems (e.g., PIX) within a bank or fintech environment.
• 6–8 years of software development experience with a proven track record in technical leadership or mentorship.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and experience with distributed systems and APIs.
• Experience working in regulated or mission-critical financial environments.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English
