What you will do

• Create high-quality animations while ensuring overall artistic quality and consistency.
• Prioritize, assign, and track tasks for the animation team to meet strict project deliverables.
• Represent the animation team in cross-discipline discussions and production follow-ups.
• Mentor and coach team members on technical and artistic animation aspects.
• Coordinate bug fixing and manage the seamless integration of new employees.
• Collaborate with leadership to recruit new talent for the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in video game animation.
• Proven experience leading animation teams in a production environment.
• Strong mastery of keyframe animation principles and production pipelines.
• Proficiency in Maya and experience with Unreal Engine and Blueprints.
• Experience with motion-capture (MoCap) workflows.
• Must be based in or able to work from the offices in Montreal, Newcastle upon Tyne, or Bucharest.
