What you will do

• Invent and productionize scientific solutions to optimize capacity utilization and customer experience within EC2.
• Design and deploy scalable machine learning models for demand allocation and capacity intelligence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to bridge the gap between science and business needs.
• Develop new algorithms and state-of-the-art models using forecasting, deep learning, and causal inference.
• Write technical narratives for leadership to gain approval for model launches and updates.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, ML, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience building ML models for business applications.
• Proven track record of patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Proficiency in programming with Java, C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong expertise in algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, or distributed computing.

Nice to have

• Experience working within Unix/Linux environments.
