What you will do

• Optimize productivity, quality, and cycle times for production processes within the assigned area.
• Implement new processes as part of the industrialization phase to improve plant performance.
• Eliminate manufacturing waste, including time, scrap, and effort, through process optimization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as Process Data Sheets, Work Instructions, and P-FMEA according to IATF 16949.
• Validate process and product characteristics (CCs, SCs, and ICs) in collaboration with Quality and Product Development.
• Investigate and integrate new technologies to ensure the company remains competitive in automotive manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1 to 2 years of experience with JIT Principles.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in Automated Manufacturing.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in Plastic Processing, Continuous Improvement, and Analytical Troubleshooting.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite at the Duncan, SC plant.

Nice to have

• Experience with 2D and 3D Modeling Software.
• Knowledge of Industrial Automation and Controls.
