What you will do

• Perform plant maintenance, repairs and installations on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and diagnose issues with AC/DC motors and controls.
• Inspect, test and operate machinery before releasing to manufacturing.
• Replace electrical components, motors, belts and defective parts; adjust and align rolls and rollers.
• Use hand/power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
• Report faulty operations or unusual situations to supervision and adhere to safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and completion of craft apprenticeship or training program.
• Knowledge of tools, materials and practices in mechanical maintenance for production equipment.
• Ability to operate power/manual tools and light/heavy equipment.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in continuous manufacturing.
• Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Use electrical testing equipment like meters and meggers; lift up to 60 pounds.
