What you will do

• Provide direct support in the cleanroom (approximately 75% of time) to troubleshoot optical alignment and metrology issues.
• Resolve module test, final qualification, and manufacturing tooling equipment failures.
• Perform nominal optical design re-computations and correction of optical aberrations.
• Analyze Matlab scripts and process interferometer data to extract nm flatness information.
• Develop OCAPs, Fishbone diagrams, and technical troubleshooting guidelines.
• Support Root Cause Analysis (DOA) and PFMEA implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering.
• Knowledge of geometric and wave optics, Gaussian propagation, and aberration theory.
• Working knowledge of optical metrology setups including Interferometers, Shack-Hartmann sensors, and polarimetry.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Python.
• Knowledge of Code-V and/or Zemax.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined by US Export Administration Regulations.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of NX, Teamcenter, and SAP.
• Experience with Optical-Electrical sensors.
• Experience in technical Production Engineering and quality methodologies such as statistical process control (SPC).
