What you will do

• Monitor, control, and improve state of the art 200mm semiconductor equipment.
• Solve difficult errors and tool failures as a tool owner.
• Perform and teach preventive maintenance activities.
• Review Statistical Process Control charts for process quality and react to out of control conditions including defect troubleshooting.
• Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool safety, quality, availability, throughput, and cost or parts and service.
• Support startup and install of new equipment.

Requirements

• > 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree in Engineering or Physics.
• >5 years of Preventative & Corrective Maintenance or Equipment Engineering expertise in defect and/or parametric metrology systems such as PUMA, SP1, CDSEM, film thickness.
• Able to train, mentor, and coach junior engineers and maintenance technicians.
• Ability to understand organization’s quality requirement process and be responsible for customer satisfaction while working in a competitive team and adhering customer build/test instructions.
• Experience in troubleshooting electromechanical optical systems and read schematic diagrams.
• Very strong root cause troubleshooting experience and expertise.
