TL;DR
Business Control Analyst (Fintech/Banking): Executing core control activities and monitoring operational data for the CBS Business Control & Insights team with an accent on cash, Nostro, and suspense reconciliations. Focus on identifying operational gaps, generating data-driven insights, and strengthening first-line controls during a digital transition.
Location: Hybrid in Dublin; Must have the Right to Work in Ireland (EU or holder of a valid Stamp 4 Visa)

What you will do
- Perform essential control activities, including cash, Nostro, and suspense reconciliations.
- Monitor operational activity to identify errors, exceptions, and unusual patterns early.
- Generate insights and reports on quality, throughput, and risk indicators via dashboards.
- Log and track operational issues, coordinating with responsible teams for timely remediation.
- Map internal processes to identify control gaps and opportunities for streamlining.
- Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Technology, and Business Change teams to strengthen end-to-end processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data/Analytics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Operations, Controls, Finance, or data-driven roles.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
- Experience with reconciliations, investigations, or exception handling.
- Right to Work in Ireland (EU or valid Stamp 4 Visa) is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Power BI or SQL.
- Previous experience working within the Banking or Fintech industry.
