What you will do

• Architect and refine relevance models to improve ad performance and user engagement through ML techniques.
• Develop and optimize bidding policies using Bayesian methods, reinforcement learning, and advanced optimization algorithms.
• Build and deploy meta-learning frameworks to create personalized ad experiences.
• Conduct rigorous A/B testing and experimentation to validate hypotheses and measure business impact.
• Mentor team members and advocate for software engineering best practices within the data science community.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience working with deep machine learning models in the ad tech industry.
• Experience designing and implementing bidding or LTV prediction algorithms (DSP, Ad Network, or App Publisher side).
• Fluency in distributed data processing using tools like AWS Athena, Spark, or Ray.
• Strong mathematical foundation and ability to translate complex algorithms for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Hamburg, Germany (Hybrid setup: 3 core office days).
