What you will do

• Set analytical vision and roadmap for User Growth data science aligned with company priorities.
• Lead, coach, and grow a team of 6-10 data scientists, hiring exceptional talent.
• Design, execute, and interpret experiments and causal analyses for user acquisition, activation, retention, and reengagement.
• Develop user growth forecasting systems and partner with Finance and Product on metrics.
• Drive business intelligence strategy including metrics layer, dashboards, and analytical infrastructure.
• Translate findings into narratives for leadership and collaborate across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Finance.

Requirements

• 10+ years in data science, economics, or analytics solving product/business problems; 4+ years managing data science teams.
• Graduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field (PhD strong signal).
• Deep expertise in causal inference, experimentation, and machine learning models.
• Track record building, leading, and growing high-performing data science teams.
• Strong SQL, Python or R, and data engineering ecosystem knowledge.
• Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience at high-growth, data-intensive consumer tech company.
