What you will do

• Conduct research and prototype new ideas for the blockchain's execution zone.
• Transform research output and prototypes into scalable production systems.
• Implement end-to-end functionality and perform rigorous code reviews.
• Profile system bottlenecks and harden cryptographic components.
• Improve existing protocol mechanisms and ensure system stability through testing.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Rust.
• Deep understanding of modern cryptography and ZK-based blockchain systems.
• Experience with zero-knowledge virtual machines (zkVMs) or peer-to-peer systems.
• Ability to propose and implement core protocol improvements.
• Experience working asynchronously across different time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with RISC0.
• Previous experience building blockchain projects.
• History of implementing core protocol-level systems.
• Experience in testing systems and identifying vulnerabilities.
