What you will do

• Serve as the technical lead for enterprise client engagements, establishing architectural direction and key design decisions.
• Architect and build scalable microservice-based systems and implement complex service integration patterns.
• Assess existing architectures and codebases to identify modernization opportunities and reduce technical debt.
• Lead large feature releases across team boundaries and coordinate directly with client stakeholders.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical coaching.
• Contribute reusable reference architectures and engineering standards to the internal App Modernization practice.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience delivering production applications from design through release.
• Expert proficiency in Python (async/concurrency, FastAPI) and React with TypeScript.
• Deep experience designing and operating microservice-based systems, API gateways, and distributed tracing.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, EKS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB) and IaC platforms like Terraform.
• Must be based in the US or eligible to work in the US (implied by 401k and EEO policies).
• Experience in client-facing consulting or professional services delivery environments.

Nice to have

• Domain experience in financial services, capital markets, or asset management.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks and hands-on LLM integration.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification.
