Security Analyst – Forensics/Malware Analysis

TL;DR

Security Analyst (Forensics/Malware Analysis): Perform malware analysis and digital media forensics in support of incidents and investigations with an accent on forensic collection, containment recommendations, and technical reporting. Focus on coordinating forensic findings with SOC/IR teams and producing defensible artifacts for decision-making and threat response.

Location: Arizona. Willingness to go on-site as required. Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret/SCI preferred.

What you will do

• Perform malware analysis and digital media analysis to support incidents.
• Conduct forensic collection and analysis for investigations and response actions.
• Support containment and eradication with technical findings and recommendations.
• Produce technical reports and artifacts for decision-making and closure.
• Coordinate with SOC/IR teams to connect forensic findings to operational actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5 years security-related experience.
• Extensive experience with digital media analysis and digital forensics.
• Any 1 of: CISSP (associate), CCSP, SSCP, GMON, GCIH, GCIA, GECD, CEH, CASP and required cert from DoD 8570 CSSP track (CEH, CFR, CySA+, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, SCYBER).
• Active Secret clearance; Top Secret/SCI preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
