What you will do

• Lead incident response to identify, assess, contain, and mitigate threats, documenting efforts for multiple audiences.
• Develop and operationalize automated incident response runbooks, tracking KPIs for effectiveness.
• Document investigations including IOCs, TTPs, impacted systems, data exposure, and lessons learned.
• Act as incident manager and liaison across engineering, security, and operations teams.
• Conduct forensic analysis using commercial and open-source tools.
• Analyze trends in data sets, customize reporting on metrics, and advise leadership on sensitive matters.

Requirements

• Extensive cybersecurity experience: 8+ years in investigations and incident response, supported by bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in incident response, computer forensics, malware analysis, network traffic analysis, and log analysis.
• Strong skills in SIEM, SOAR, EDR platforms, threat intelligence, MITRE ATT&CK, and ATLAS frameworks.
• Broad knowledge of OS (Windows, macOS, Linux/Unix, mobile), cloud environments (SaaS, PaaS), firewalls, and IDS.
• Analytical, risk-assessment, and communication skills for high-stress environments.
