What you will do

• Monitor daily cybersecurity activity across commercial and custom tools to identify benign or malignant events.
• Perform malware analysis and escalate critical findings to senior incident response teams.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting focused on phishing and breach indicators using external intelligence.
• Execute forensic investigations to uncover root causes of anomalous events.
• Administer security tools, including customizations and integrations for optimal efficacy.
• Contribute to research and strategy development for threat landscape and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related IT field highly preferred.
• Proficiency in security tool administration, event analysis, firewall management, anti-virus protocols, and patching cycles.
• IT Security certifications (e.g., Security+, GCIH, CEH) highly desired.
• Must be able to work early morning shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) and adhere to hybrid on-site schedule in Concord, CA.
• Teamwork, curiosity, and tenacity to collaborate under pressure with diverse technical teams.
