Location: Remote (Americas focus, ability to work remotely from anywhere)

What you will do

• Set technical direction for Managed Services MongoDB offerings and service delivery improvements.
• Act as escalation point for complex MongoDB tickets, own resolutions, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Provide guidance on hirify.global’s MongoDB product strategy and recommend enhancements.
• Create technical content like blogs, whitepapers, webinars, and deliver conference talks.
• Train, mentor, and supervise MongoDB team members.
• Participate in proactive tasks for customer environment stability, performance, and sales support.

Requirements

• Fluent English communication (native-level a bonus) for customer interactions.
• 7+ years MongoDB experience in customer-facing roles or distributed software administration with advanced MongoDB knowledge.
• MongoDB expertise in installation, configuration, upgrades, tuning, replication, and sharding.
• Production experience with multiple datacenters and large datasets.
• Experience with Linux, FreeBSD.
• Client programming in PHP, Java, Node.js, Go, Python, Ruby, or similar with MongoDB.
• Other NoSQL experience (e.g., Cassandra).

Nice to have

• Networking, system administration, hardware, virtualization, containers, scripting, IO subsystems.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations.
• Experience with Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Vagrant, Consul.
