What you will do

• Deliver best-of-breed technical support for MongoDB to customers with demanding deployments.
• Resolve complex problems involving configuration, performance, and topologies.
• Assist fellow support engineers and lead in blogging and support content creation.
• Collaborate with other departments to impact product strategy.
• Occasionally travel for team meetings, conferences, and customer visits.

Requirements

• Experience working with customers in English
• Excellent knowledge of RDBMS and MongoDB: configuration, best practices, schema design, performance tuning, query/index optimization, backups, replica sets, sharding, engine selection, monitoring.
• Demonstrable experience administering Linux-based systems.
• Knowledge of virtualized environments (VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, Azure).
• Methodical troubleshooting skills for complex issues.
• Completed MongoDB University courses.
