What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain core backend services and APIs.
• Build and operate data pipelines for security signals, exposure data, and reasoning outputs.
• Implement scalable, secure, and well-structured backend architectures.
• Ensure fault tolerance, observability, and operational excellence through logging, metrics, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with AI, security, and product teams to translate reasoning requirements into backend implementations.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a senior backend engineer in production environments.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals and system design skills.
• Experience building distributed systems and high-throughput APIs.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate independently.
• Ability to pass background checks and applicable security clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Experience with security-critical systems or data-intensive products.
