TL;DR

Site Reliability Engineer (Cloud Enablement): Design, build, advocate for, and support common tools and delivery platforms used by developers with an accent on improving developer experience, operational excellence, and cloud cost optimization. What you will do

• Design, build, advocate for, and support common tools and delivery platforms for hirify.global developers.
• Improve developer experience and operational excellence through automation and standards.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across global teams.
• Select and rollout defaults for CI/CD, observability, security, and runtime environments.
• Work with engineering teams across continents to understand needs and balance business requirements.
• Research new tools/patterns, measure impact, and evolve practices including cloud cost optimization.

Requirements

• Developer/DevOps/SRE/Platform experience with strong interest in software delivery and operations.
• Experience rolling out automation, tools, technologies, patterns, and guardrails organization-wide.
• Experience in globally distributed teams with excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Deep public cloud knowledge (preferably Azure), containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes).
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Travis CI, etc.), observability (Prometheus, Elastic Stack, etc.).
• Cloud cost optimization, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), incident management, robust code (Golang preferred).
• Bachelor's in CS/IT or related; 4+ years managing public cloud services; 2+ years as senior in cloud/platform team.

Nice to have

• Agile methodologies, managing cloud services at scale (AWS/Azure).
• Service mesh (Istio, Consul), IaC, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, etc.), config management (Ansible, etc.).
• Expertise in Python/Go/Java/C#/C/C++, IaaS/Serverless, networking (TCP/IP, DNS), Linux/Windows admin.
• Fault detection/automation, scalable/distributed systems, SQL/NoSQL, data structures/algorithms.
