What you will do

• Design, build, and operate observability platforms based on Grafana and Prometheus.
• Define and maintain metrics standards, dashboards, alerts, and SLOs.
• Improve signal quality by reducing alert noise and tuning thresholds in runbooks.
• Integrate metrics, logs, and traces across distributed systems.
• Automate observability configuration using Terraform and other infrastructure as code tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to instrument services and drive reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Prometheus scraping, federation, recording rules, and alerting.
• Strong experience with Grafana dashboards, alerting, templating, and RBAC.
• Solid Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Experience running observability stacks within Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Must be based in Hungary or Bulgaria.

Nice to have

• Experience with Loki, Tempo, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience operating large-scale or multi-cluster Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or OCI.
• Exposure to SRE concepts including error budgets and SLO-driven prioritisation.
