What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using TypeScript and NestJS
• Develop and document robust REST and GraphQL APIs for frontend and AI components
• Manage structured and real-time data with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Integrate AI pipelines, inference systems, and third-party APIs across teams
• Own backend performance, reliability, observability, and dev workflow improvements
• Drive engineering excellence through clean code, code reviews, documentation, and architecture decisions

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building production-grade backend systems
• Highly proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS
• Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Comfortable with PostgreSQL, Redis, and caching strategies
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git
• Value clean architecture, modular codebases, and well-structured data models
• Thrive in high-ownership, fast-paced startup environment

Nice to have

• Experience building secure, scalable auth systems (OAuth2, SSO)
• Familiarity with async patterns, workers, or event-driven systems (BullMQ, RabbitMQ)
• Exposure to AI/ML tooling, vector databases, or real-time inference workloads
• Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise-scale backend platforms
