What you will do

• Design, execute, and publish studies evaluating AI clinical systems, including diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
• Own the full research lifecycle from hypothesis formulation through IRB processes and final publication.
• Cultivate and manage collaborative relationships with academic medical centers and research institutions.
• Develop savings methodologies and cost-effectiveness analyses in partnership with health economists and actuaries.
• Collaborate with internal clinical evaluation and data science teams to prioritize research questions.
• Define the research roadmap to support commercial, regulatory, and scientific objectives.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in health services research, biomedical informatics, epidemiology, or health economics.
• Proven track record of independently designing applied research studies and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience with AI/ML evaluation methodologies within healthcare settings.
• Proficiency working with claims data, EHR data, or clinical operations data.
• Strong understanding of value-based care frameworks and total cost of care modeling.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in digital health, health tech, or a clinical AI company.
• Existing relationships with academic medical centers or health services research groups.
• Knowledge of regulatory and payer evidence landscapes in digital health.
• Experience collaborating with health plan analytics teams or actuaries.
