Location: Remote in Latin America

is a remote startup building data products, machine learning systems, and custom AI solutions for demand planning, forecasting, advertising, visual recognition, recommendations, and other industry applications.
What you will do
- Define goals and deliver custom data solutions in collaboration with the team and clients.
- Design, implement, optimize, and automate ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Build, maintain, and improve scalable, high-performance data systems and architectures.
- Develop internal tools, support technology migrations, and assist with model design.
- Review, document, test, and integrate code using CI/CD practices.
Requirements
- Experience in data engineering, including building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python, including Pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and with DBT.
- Basic knowledge of Docker.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect, plus familiarity with ETL automation.
Nice to have
- Experience with stream processing tools such as Kafka Streams, Kinesis, or Spark.
- Solid English for understanding and communicating technical concepts.
