What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain data pipelines including data lake, shaping pipeline, and analysis tooling.
• Maintain engineering-level observability stacks with Datadog, NewRelic, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Own data quality across product and observability stack, including KPI definitions for product development and quality.
• Collaborate with SRE on observability intersecting with product reliability and debuggability.
• Work with Product Management on gathering and analyzing product metrics and user-behavioral analytics.
• Ensure data gathering and pipelines meet privacy, security, compliance needs like GDPR and CCPA.

Requirements

• SQL and RDMSs such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with large-scale analytics engines like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks.
• Experience with observability solutions such as Datadog or NewRelic.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with public cloud deployment including Kubernetes.
• Understanding of GDPR and similar regulations worldwide.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric platform.
• Understanding of data pipeline design, workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow or Dagster.
